Project Description
TSI Engineering, Inc. delivered a full groundwater treatment facility upgrade for the City of Modesto Utilities Department at Well 312 in Empire, CA. The project modernized drinking water treatment through installation of granular activated carbon (GAC) vessels, chlorination systems, structural foundations, electrical integration, and instrumentation controls.
The improvements strengthened water quality compliance, enhanced operational reliability, and expanded system control under City of Modesto standards.
Scope Highlights
- Furnish and install dual GAC treatment vessels and carbon media
- Construct reinforced concrete foundations and treatment pad systems
- Install chlorination system and polyethylene chemical storage tank
- Install magnetic flow meters, analyzers, instrumentation, and process controls
