Valero Gas Station Stockton

This project was completed on an emergency basis. The City was required to widen Hammer Lane. As a result, the owner had only 3 months to submit plans to get a construction permit and remove two existing dispensers along with its fueling canopy. All work was managed in accordance with city and state codes and regulations.

TSI provided design and construction services for the remodel of the existing convenience store, removal of the canopy, relocation of two dispensers, and construction of new car wash. The company prepared conceptual architect plans and submitted them to the city planning department for project approval. Prepared working drawings, including civil, structural, electrical, fueling, mechanical and plumbing plans, which were submitted to the city building department for a construction permit. Proposed some best management practices with regard to storm water.

Performed construction work, including demolition, earthwork, material procurement, installation of dispensers and associated piping, reinforced concrete footings, concrete masonry walls, fencing, electrical and mechanical installation, and quality control oversight.

Performed soil exploration and prepared geotechnical report depicting soil parameters required for the foundation design of the building structure. Performed structural analysis and prepared structural plans and specifications for the building and canopies.
