TSI Engineering Inc. (TSI) constructed 8-million-gallon sludge sewage basin facility at the Linda County Water District, California. Our scope of work encompassed constructing a 8-million-gallon (495 ft. x 285 ft. x 12 ft. deep) capacity concrete-lined equalization (EQ) and sludge storage basin, including Decant Structure (42 ft. x 17 ft. x 16 ft deep) showcasing seamless coordination. The project involved the 45,000 yd earth work, reinforcement metal 20 tons #4 , 198 tons #5 and 31 tons of #7 rebars, 5015 cy of 4000 psi cement concrete, precise installations of 6” digested sludge, 16” decant, 18” raw sewage, and 4” water piping. The majority of concrete was poured during nighttime to address limitations posed by ambient temperatures. An access road was also build for convenience to dispose of dry sludge. Linda County has upgraded its sewage water facility to handle future demands and challenges from the growing local population. Thanks to TSI for constructing the new state-of-the-art sludge facility ensures advanced capabilities.
