The main scope of work is the Cleaning and re coating of the existing bulkhead dam gate and its appurtenances.

Services included:

• Work involves the establishment of the gravel access road to the gate.
• Scope of work also includes the removal of the existing gate by sliding it out from its hoisting structure and make one air tight vizqueen enclosure around the hoisting structure using scaffolding construction and the other enclosure at the contractor staging area by relocating the removed door hundreds of feets away.
• Sand blasting and surface preparation under negative air pressure and certified labor per Federal and State OSHA guide lines.
• Work involves the removal and replacement of existing rusted bolts and replace new J-seal.
• Install two (2) new lift eyes for the future use for lift and relocating the gate.
• Sand blast all the appurtenances and ladder.
• Install epoxy system per SSPC standards and ASTM testing/ thickness profiling at each and everycoat.
• All waste disposal to certified Ecology and waste manifest completed.
• Perform all TSP and PM-10 monitoring during the sand blasting and coating activities.
• Pre and post soil and water sampling for any hazardoud residue and mitigation.
• Final cleaning and sweeping and relocating the gate to the US Army Corps of Engineers storage yard
